Teachers and students of Mahabodhi Residential School, Mizoram, celebrated the 56th Teachers’ Day, 2017 to give tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a noted Indian philosopher and statement and the second President of the country.

The students performed various dances and other acts to mark the occasion.

The school has been working for strengthening the orphaned children in the society for the past 13 years. It provides food, clothes, and quality education to destitute indigenous Chakma children living in remote rural areas in Mizoram.

At present, the school needs funds for remodeling school structure, buying food and kitchen supplies, providing honorarium for teachers, along with  the generosity of volunteers to teach or sponsor orphaned children. If you want to support these children and provide them a fair chance to get equal opportunity in life, please connect with Sudip Chakma at sudiputpm@gmail.com.

Below are some of the glimpses of the event.
